Finnick Headcannon for Serena (: Finnick’s POV: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I slowly open my eyes and find Annie lying on my lap and I instantly smile. Everybody finds it strange that I chose a mad girl over all the crazy, ‘beautiful’ people in the Capitol; but she isn’t crazy if you had been in the arena and seen your friend’s head chopped off you would have nightmares and be anxious all the time too. And the Capitol citizens aren’t beautiful, they’re crazy with their lives and what they call fashion. Annie rolls her head to find me grinning at her, I slowly sit up and she starts to do the same before I grab her face and pull her in for a kiss. She pulls away and stands up to take my hand, and we slowly walk into the water. Once we’re out deep enough she hops onto my back and I dive underwater to see all the beautiful creatures I grew up basically living with - the fish, the turtles and small crabs – I come back up for a quick breath before diving back under to try to catch a fish or play with the turtles. We emerge from the water, both without fish and start to slowly paddle back into shore. We slept a bit longer than I thought, we were only going to rest after fishing for a while but clearly we were more tired than I thought. I put a top on, and hand Annie her shorts as she was only in her bathers, we walk back up the steps hand in hand as I whisper into her ear, so only she can hear, “I love you.” She grins and kisses me on the cheek and whispers into my ear “I love you, Finnick Odair” --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hope you liked it :) Please comment feedback and thoughts! ~Sly Like Foxfaceᴬᴰᴹᴵᴺ
