Fiona Wade has revealed she doesnt think Priya Sharma is ready to be a mum yet. Priya was left broken-hearted when fiancé David Metcalfe ditched her for Alicia Harding, even though she is expecting his baby. She has now developed an eating disorder as she tries to control her stress. Fiona admitted: I dont think Priya is ready to be a mother at the moment. If she still had David and theyd got married as theyd planned, shed be more excited and would be out buying all of the baby outfits. She would have more confidence about the type of mother she could be. As Priya is on her own, she feels like shes got nothing and David left her because she is nothing. Its a real opposite side to Priya compared to what weve seen before. New friend Leyla Harding is set to realise that Priya is not eating properly, but Priya just shuts her out. Fiona said: She needs professional help, as you cant do this kind of thing on your own - its too big. She added: This story is going to be ongoing. Its a great storyline for Priya and youll see many layers to her. I think youll get to know more about Priya and who she is. Weve seen one side to her, but this story goes back to things from years ago and what she was like then.
