*** Fire Cracker Race Weekend 7/6 & 7/7 *** Good Morning: Please read below as there is a lot of information in this email… Work details HAVE changed as of 7/1/2013. We will post it here shortly. There will also be an UP TO DATE version of the schedule in the sign in shack for reference. (Please contact Kris Evans with any questions) This weekend, July 6th and 7th is our Firecracker 30s Race Weekend!! This is an open event, All racers and their families are welcome, so spread the word! (**Non-USAC Members are able to race, they will need to fill out a release form and pay an additional $5 charge for insurance coverage.**) Saturday July 6, 2013 10:30am – 12:00pm Sign-In 12:45 Driver/Handler meeting 1pm: PROMPTLY – Individual practices Immediately following practices – We will start our time trials Time trials: · Sticks will be pulled to determine where you will qualify per class · Will consist of 5 laps. These laps will determine positioning for Sunday · Fastest lap per class will determine the track record for the 2013 Season!!!!! * Anyone signing in after 12pm on Saturday will be required to start in the rear of their respective class. ***Bleacher Cleaning will be completed immediately following Time Trials. Please bring buckets, sponges/brushes, liquid soap and garden hoses. Please see the bottom of the work duties schedule to determine if your family is scheduled for this round of bleacher cleaning. The schedule says bleacher cleaning is on Sun 7/7.( IT IS SAT 7/6) Sorry for the mistake*** Sunday, July 7, 2013 10:30am-12:00pm Sign in (For late sign ins) *Anyone signing in on Sunday will start at the rear of the Feature* 12:30pm – first two classes should be lined up in the staging area 12:45pm – Driver/Handler Meeting 1:00pm PROMPTLY – Features to start *****We will be running features ONLY. Classes with more than 12 cars will be split into two separate features.***** Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 drivers in each class. Participant medals will be given to all other drivers. (Immediately following track tear down) * Fair ground Speed Limit is 5 mph!!! * Please park with in the fenced in area. The Upper Gate ( by the Sign-In Shack ) will be open up until 15 minutes prior to Sign-Ins. Then all traffic will be required to enter and exit via the bottom gate. *Please make sure the area around your trailer is clean of trash before you leave for the night. Trash receptacles are located all over the grounds. Work Detail Information is attached to the email along with the updated Members list. Additions and deletions were made; please contact a Board Member with any questions. **We are looking for any volunteers to learn the scoring/computer system. See Kris Evans or Becky Edwards if you are interested** *Work duties are subject to change based on additional members or a decrease in membership. You will be notified timely, via weekly email.
