Fire In Your Belly Watching the anti-police violence protest movement grow to include elements as disparate as the Nation of Islam and privileged prep school students, I am of two minds. First, and most importantly, if they resort to violence then shame on them. They are spitting on the graves of the victims with their reckless anarchy, which hurts only the communities they purport to represent. Second, and this is aimed at the Millennial-generation who are participating in the protests. As I said at the beginning of the Occupy Wall Street protests, thank God something got you away from the computer screen and off the couch in your mamas basement. Now that you believe in something, make your actions responsible and non-violent. If the goal is to save innocents from illegal police force, dont victimize other innocents. Keep the fire in your belly, not in your hands. If not all you achieve is ashes.
