First Band L.F.R. I managed and produced on Transatlantic Records over 45 years ago 3 piece Rock band! Influences: Cream (R.I.P. Jack Bruce) and Jimi Hendrix R.I.P. Soon after this Album was released Ginger Johnson with his African Drummers (R.I.P.) approached me at the ROUNDHOUSE Camden London and said hey Eddie Sandham can my boys play with your boys I said what do we all know ?? They played Im a ManI sat at the back of the ROUNDHOUSE and watched !! And to this day still one of the best performances I have witnessed!! This was the start of AFROROCK. I then went with Ginger Johnson his family of Drummers,fire eaters and dancers to play with the ROLLING STONES in the famous Hyde Park Concert in front of Half a million people. I must say Today I manage and play in a band called BURN Who I can loosely call an old school AFROROCK BAND!! My dream while I am living in Africa is to produce and record IM A MAN. Ginger Baker lives close by or Richard Pickett give me a hand with this dream please!! Any other Musicians from my passed or present wanting to help with the REBIRTH of AFROROCK get in touch !! To include Percussionists. Sax. Trumpet Trombone. Guitars Bass and Drums maybe Keyboards for some effects!!
