First I come home, eat carbs, calm down, because there were too - TopicsExpress

First I come home, eat carbs, calm down, because there were too many police. I pulled up behind a head on. Youngsters from the nearby apartments milling all over and only one older woman who took on the other injured, I took the one in shock. The emergency training and connection between police and fire department is dismal. The disgust shown by the fire personal for the less than helpful officers was apparent. There were 2 totaled rigs, 2 injured, one fire truck, then….8 cop rigs, then one ambulance, then more cops…Damn. Ok, my guy is on the stretcher, his stuff is out of the car, his family connected; I get my blanket back and sneak out…. I unwind….I am all ready to fall in bed, someone BEATS THE HELL out of my front door, I run down, open it, it’s a Cop, I close the door, lock it. Go to the window, what do you want? We want to talk to you….There was a 911 call, domestic violence, yelling in the back ground…... Well then talk to me over here, through the window…. No, not here, no one called from here, there is no noise. The cop replies, yes, here, I am not going to argue. Good, the only noise here is Mason snoring and Jess just got out of the shower. You scare the hell out of me, I didn’t call, no one here did. Jess then answers the door in a towel, explains I am not a happy camper, as I am hanging out the upstairs window, insisting there is no reason to be here, you scare the hell out of me, please go……….Why are you scared? Because I just had several surgeries to Repair the Last time I came out the door to talk to the Kent Cops, Everyone is asleep, ….the cop replies……..your awake……….. Bugger, how the hell did we get to a point there are that many cops per citizens?? Ok, back to bed….. get up in am….clean out room to rent down stairs, get food, make food, clean house and cook till 5…. Ok, fine…. Must teach Jess better to not open the damn door.
