First, I want to thank everyone for their words, support, and prayers. It’s hard to believe it’s been just over one week since my heart attack. I went from setting up for a gig in Keystone, to an ambulance ride down to Frisco, a helicopter ride to St. Anthony’s in Lakewood, two surgeries to insert stents, and finally back home on Wednesday. It’s all somewhat surreal and still feels like a bad dream. But, here I am, ready to make some life style changes, and really happy to just be here. My son (and hero), Jordan, was with me when it happened and was in full life guard mode. He was calm, cool, and very helpful to the paramedics. My wife, Lora, has been taking great care of me and will have the dubious task of trying to keep me on-track during my cardiac rehab and beyond. I feel truly blessed to have such a great family and friends. Again, thanks for all the support, and I hope to be around to bother you for quite a while longer! Joe
