First Id like to say, Happy Opening Day! Mammoth Mountain will again bring so much joy for this winter season. I hope to see many of my friends and enjoy turns in abundance. Secondly,(my main reason for this post) I would like to express how important it is for people, especially young outdoor enthusiasts to watch the film Damnation. Late is better than never. I have finally watched the powerful documentary in its entirety. I am currently studying Hydrology and watershed management at Humboldt State University. Damnation rung so close to my passion I could hardly blink. Along with a fellow Hydro student and good friend of mine, we watched in astonishment of what has, is, and will be done to our water systems in this country. To say the least, I am happy to be studying what I am and have gained even more motivation to attain as much knowledge as possible. Lastly, to my amusement Humboldt State University marching band is featured toward the end as announced that the Klamath River dam will be destructed in 2020(hopefully Im a grad student by then).
