First National Forum of family accommodation will be held on 15 October 2014 at the Royal hotel-Opatija , organized by the Community of family accommodation at the Department of Tourism / Croatia/ Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism and the City of Opatija, along with a big Croatian tourist board. The Forum will present a national program of family accommodation and news in the legislation, as well as experiences, problems and good practices, with an emphasis on current topics in the field of branding, marketing and sales. Family accommodation gathers 60,000 households and a half million of tourist beds in Croatia. Its capacity continues to grow so that estimates that this year alone registered 35,000 new beds
