I Am Mariah...The Elusive Chanteuse - I intended it to be listened to in its entirety, as an exclusive, complete body of work. The personal interludes between the songs are meant to complete the story. The title was taken from my one-and-only self portrait I drew when I was just 3 1/2 years old and is included as my back cover artwork. This new album has been such a labor of love for me...Every song I wrote was inspired by a personal moment in my life...from the innocence of that childs eyes at 3 1/2 to the wisdom of the woman and artist I am today...believe me, its been quite a ride!!!
