First and foremost... if you have anything NEGATIVE to say or post about ANY police officers... do yourself a favor and unfriend me NOW. I will not sit here and watch as some of you post hate and uninformed garbage about how cops need to be watched, how officers need to be accountable, and what you THINK you know about the law. Do yourself a favor and unfriend me. You have ZERO idea what it is like to be an officer, you have no idea of the protocols that they are required to follow and much of what youre boasting about and hating on police officers for is because they are following their departments rules. Just a note for all of you out there... Officer Safety is the #1 priority in each and every one of these officers lives. They want everyone to arrive home safely to their family. If they feel threatened, harassed, or furthermore, if you dont follow simple instructions that are provided to you by the officer, of course you are then NOT FOLLOWING ORDERS FROM AN OFFICER OF THE LAW... i.e. ITS ILLEGAL! Those officers have every right to perform their JOB, just like it may be your job to push paper, teach a class, make a sales call, etc. Police officers put their lives on the line EVERY time they put that uniform on, get in their car and go to work. Whether on duty or off, they are a target because of people who perpetuate the COPS ARE ALL DIRTY mentality... Maybe get all sides of the story before you start hating on people for doing their job... and NEXT TIME I see some hate filled, police officer shaming post on my Facebook page... consider yourself deleted. I would love for you to spend just 24 hours as an officer... then you would realize all of the crap that they go through... and not only them, but their entire family who waits for them to walk through the door after each and every shift. GROW UP PEOPLE... Stop blaming the police. Start with accountability for your own actions. Enough said.
