First day home and what do we do? Why we clean our washing machine of course! I usually do this about every six months or when clean clothes start to smell musty. Easy peasy! Start machine and allow to fill with hot water, but dont agitate. Add a couple cups of vinegar, cup of baking soda, let sit for a bit. Use the water in the machine and a cloth to wipe under side of rim and other gungy places (toothbrush also really helpful). Close lid and run machine. Done & good as new! Note that I have a top loader.
