First day of school as a Principal! It was great! Things ran pretty smooth ... Learned some things I need to do better ... But teachers, kids, and parents did great. I had lots of people on staff jumping in to make things happen! Would name them here, but afraid I would miss someone! I will say that my AP (Cheryl Bailey) is DA BOMB!!! She took charge where needed and things rolled!! We received a compliment about our schools calmness from a parent who had been to another school!! That made my day! Also received two beautiful arrangements of flowers - one from mom & dad (Nina Fancher) and the other from a dear friend, Amy Blackwell! Could not have asked for a better first day!!
