First ever Open Data Fest in Lithuania will start this evening at LCC International University and continue throughout the weekend! This unique event is organized by LCC Innovation Lab together with the Young Professionals Program "Kurk Lietuvai", supported by The Government of Lithuania and has Klaipėda Municipality, Microsoft, Enterprise Lithuania, TEO, Infolex, Recafe, Klaipėdos Pienas as partners. Open Data Fest is a hackathon entirely devoted to exposing the potential of the government‘s open data in Lithuania. Teams of programmers, designers, marketing experts and active citizens will reuse data of public institutions to develop innovative products and services such as mobile apps. It is open for everyone who has ideas how to live more comfortably. Teams will be provided mentorship by experts from LCC Innovation Lab, Klaipėda Municipality, Microsoft Lithuania, Enterprise Lithuania, and Startup Highway.
