First of all, I wanted to thank you in advance for all of your support, having to listen to me rant on and on about “that stupid bike carrier thing” … I mean this, some of you guys have had to listen to me talk about this for almost 4 years and it has probably taken a lot to not just say, shut up already!!! Well anyway, here is what I need from you now, some sage advice. You would not be getting this e mail unless I trusted you and your creativity, so here it goes… In the fall I would like to put the bike rack on a Kickstarter campaign, where we use “crowd funding” to pre-sell units so I can begin full scale mass production. I did attach a CAD picture of how the unit will look so you can see the new and improved design, (note the fluted load bar with nylon frame trays that interlock and the all aluminum construction). Over the past few years I have received some comments regarding the name “BoneLocker” and have taken them to heart. I think I would like to mainstream the name a little bit and tone down the pirate thing… I have a few new names I would like you to look at and would love your input on…. I am thinking that the company name would be SCS Racks (secure Carrying System Racks) and the anti-theft rack would have a model name (see below for some ideas) which would be used for the marketing of the anti-theft rack. PLEASE PLEASE respond to me with your choice, advice, or suggestions, I really need your help here!
