First of all I would like to thank everyone for all of the very much appreciated thoughts, prayers and support that our family received during my battle with the metal poisoning. Your thoughts and prayers, prayer chains from your churches and by the grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ helped us tremendously thru a very difficult time. Thank you all once more, God Bless. This time was exceptionally hard on my daughters Jessica & Michala and Im so very proud of them for their love and spirit that kept me strong thru several surgeries. Im currently being assisted by an LVAD or left ventricular assist device that pumps blood for my heart that has turned green from the Cobalt. I think of that in a humorous way as I reflect back on my heart surgeon Dr. Steven Bailey as he told me after the open heart surgery to install the lvad pump, “You know your heart is green from the metal poisoning. Its green like antifreeze! Of course me with my happy go lucky approach stated, “Oh thats nice. I thought she ( my loving wife Jennifer) was putting that in my Mt. Dew! Lastly I know without Jennifer Im not sure I could of made it. Thank you for everything. Thank God for keeping you and the girls safe in the many trips to Pittsburgh in a winter I think we would all like to forget. Thank all at WCI whos support made it possible for my family to stay nearly an entire month close to Allegheny General. God Bless all and Happy New Years!!
