First of all this is my personal opinion. My belief is that violence should not be a form of my entertainment. I took my best friend to see The Heat movie yesterday. With Sandra Bullock n Mellissa McCarthy in it I expected it to be a comedy. While I did overlook the ugly language (we are smart people and we can find more appropriate words to use) I was so disappointed in the violence that appeared in the movie. Not just one time but several to the point of showing this naive viewer a man being shot point blank in the head and then the aftermath of that shooting. Sandra Bullock performs a tracheotomy on a man in a restaurant. The blood was flying everywhere. My friend had to tell me when I could look again without being a witness to this extreme display of "acting". I cannot even begin to describe how disappointed I am in these two actors. I thought they had higher moral standard than the rest of the motion picture industry but I guess not. Again, this is my personal opinion.
