First off a huge Thank You to everyone who has bought cookies so far. Second, this is just a friendly reminder that the Mrs. Fields Cookie Dough Fundraiser ends this Friday. Myself and all of my fellow recruits at the 165th Santa Ana College Fire Academy, the oldest academy in California, really appreciate any and all support. Because of our small size (only 17 in our class compared to the usual 40-50 in the full-time academies), we have to fundraise a bit more to cover all of our cost including our own class flag (design shown below) as well as materials and certificates for skills such as Auto Extrication, Hazardous Materials First Responder, Rescue Systems, Fire Control, Wildland and others. To help offset some of these costs, our class is selling Mrs. Fields pre-portioned cookie dough. You get 32 cookies that you finish in your oven for $16. Ive attached a link to the brochure as well as some pictures. The fundraiser goes until this Friday and then the cookies will be arriving about 2 weeks after that.
