First off sorry about the photo quality tonight. I had to take these with my phone, I forgot the sd card for my camera today. I finally finished up this stately gentleman today. Gone is the not so attractive tiger oak and many dings and dents. He now looks like a well chiseled piece of limestone. To achieve the look I used American Paint Company sack cloth over cannonball, finished with dark wax then a coat of Miss Mustard Seeds Milk Paint white wax over. This was not my original vision but the dark wax ended up being too much so in came the white wax. I have to say, I love when a paint plan doesnt go as planned! Lisa
