First off we would like to thank Captain Cannon Tarwets and his group Airship 67. Many of you already know that he organized the steampunk track of the convention, which was huge and awesome with many great people as well as props, but did you know he was also in charge of the world record attempt of most steampunks which he also did an amazing job at? It is true that we are still getting all the paperwork done for that and we apologize for the delays in information as their offices have not opened up again yet from the holidays. When we did the panicked scrabble trying to figure out the layout and never agreeing, it was Captain Cannon who took the helm, sat us down and said plainly that it was being done as he did it with military skill. When we said people want a schedule and we have an idea...he again with a sigh told us to give him the information that needed to be put together and he would make a schedule. So thank you Captain for not only applying your skills to out cause to prevent a cluster but also for not killing any of us in our sleep for annoying the hell out of you. He ended up going above and beyond the call of duty, working tirelessly, and efficiently on creating this convention. He is not just a guest, but also a founder, and a friend. His crew worked on everything as hard as he did, spreading the word, organizing the chaos, and being the calm in the storm. Airship 67, we salute you! Hopefully we have many voyages together yet to come.
