First parenting fail of 2015: tried reverse psychology on my kids tonight, they were begging to go to Walmart to spend their money, I told them Im not going anywhere, they kept begging and begging and so I told them just to walk if they wanted to go so bad. They put on coats, hats and got their money and started to walk down the sidewalk. I figured they would get a block or two down towards Blondo ( a pretty busy street in the middle of Omaha) and get scared. I can see them from the front porch the whole time, but they decide to turn and start walking down Blondo! By the time I got in the car and drive down to the intersection, they were practically half way to Walmart!! All they said was, you said we could,....whoops, forgot how fearless and stubborn my children are!! No more reverse psychology in my house!
