First race in Assen was full of good luck and bad luck. After a good start I managed to avoid the 1st corner traffic jam and found myself at the 6th place. I hung on that position almost the whole race. Towards the end I catch up Hentschel and Lilja, but then we reached some backmarkers... Some of the leading guys took the inner line and I chose the outer one... and that worked. It looked that I was probably on third at least 0,67 seconds. Then the overtooked poor backmarker hit my rear wheel and pushed me out far to the gravel! Luckily I had the full throttle and pace enough to get back on track and finished 5th about 10 sec. behind the leading group. Congrats for the podium guys.
