First results of the airbrush project: After priming and painting yellow like 10 tanks and washing them with different colors, I came to the final base color combinations. As for reference both tanks were painted with Vallejo Air Color Dark Yellow (Dunkelgelb). The left tank has Vallejo black primer, the right one has Vallejo grey primer. The black primer gives a little green tone to the yellow coating so more suitable for late war, while the grey or even white primer makes yellow more like the african paint tone. The pics do not show the next step but for final wash I think I use GW Gryphon Sepia. I hope the picture can show the difference and helps for some painters too. Any other recommendation for the wash ?
