First statement by privatised Royal Mail boss, Moya Greene, is to attack trades union rights: We need to start thinking about what sort of protections do we need as a company from our people, from what has been probably too quick an approach to resort to industrial action. Greene went on to hint at stamp price rises. Meanwhile, the jump in share values suggests a £1bn undervalue of Royal Mail by the Coalition, leading to confirmation that both the National Audit Office and MPs on the Public Accounts Committee will investigate Royal Mails sale price. As Royal Mail has over 2,000 properties which the Coalition valued at just £748m, it shouldnt be hard to find evidence of this. AFter all, experts say Mount Pleasance alone could be worth up to £1bn and Nine Elm £500m.
