First time in the History UHS record 42000 mcat candidates appearing in the medical colleges entry test for admissions in MBBS and BDS in govt and private medical colleges. The surprising thing is only 13000 male students are included in this test while the number of female students for MCAT 2013 is 29000 which is quite double the male students. If you see in the field the female doctors are even below half than male doctors. This is the reason why there is great shortage of doctors in Pakistan.
