Firstly, HUGE congratulations to our boys for such a fantastic season! I have loved being a part of the team & have really enjoyed watching so many of the boys gain more confidence in themselves. As previously mentioned it has also been great to see our new players getting more involved in the game & learning new skills. What an awesome effort our boys put in to get into the Grand Final! We may be the Minor Premiers but we sure did have to fight hard in that preliminary final to be there at Narooma on Saturday! Unfortunately for us, Bega were the better team on the day. Their defence was too good & only allowed 2 of our boys to get through for a try - Tyler & Will R (with Lachy & Jett converting). On our side, our defence let us down a lot - especially in the first half. We pulled it together & defended a lot better in the second half & at one stage got within 4 points difference but we left our comeback run a little late & ran out of time. A lot of decisions went against us but Im not going to go into that. It was disappointing to lose, but the boys should still be extremely proud of themselves for what they have achieved. We are all very proud of them! So again, congratulations to our boys on such a great season & a huge thanks to Swipe, Terry, Brad & Bob for all the time that they have put in with the boys. I will post once I have confirmed details for the Presentation Day (Keryn will probably do that soon anyway) & Im also hoping to organise an U10s end of season get together sometime soon to show a DVD presentation Ive put together of the season, will post once Ive finished it to organise a night. Hope you have all enjoyed the season as much as we have & you are welcome to any of the pics I have taken of your boys, just ask if you need copies or copy them off fb :) Mel
