Fish and Poi When there is a storm and the winds of adversity are blowing it’s comforting to know that we have a place of refuge that we can be in until it subsides. It doesn’t matter what comes our way, we can know that we have help in time of trouble and our God will keep us and be our shield and buckler. Years ago I went to the hospital to pray for a woman that was demonized and when I walked in to the room to pray for her, I literally felt this shield come over and wrap around me. I knew God was my shield of protection. Whatever situation we may be in He is our refuge and He is there to protect and keep us from harm. Know that the enemy can huff and puff and try to blow our house down and the flood may beat against our house but because we’re built on the rock of our Lord Jesus Christ our house will remain firm and solid and not go down. Psalm 46:1 (KJV) God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 91:4 (KJV) He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Luke 6:48 (KJV) He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
