Fish processing for export (image for illustration) Nhan Dan Online – The Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Physio-Sanitary Surveillance (VPSS) has announced the removal of the temporary suspension of seafood imports from seven Vietnamese enterprises to the Russian Federation and the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia. According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), the seven seafood enterprises include five tra and basa processors and two shrimp processors. The seven Vietnamese enterprises will enjoy the end of Russian ban are Hung Vuong Corporation, Hung Vuong – Vinh Long Co Ltd, Ba Lai Seafood Processing Plant under the Ben Tre Forestry-Seafood Import-Export JSC, Hiep Thanh Seafood Processing JSC, Hung Ca Co Ltd, Minh Phu Seafood Corporation, and Minh Qui Seafood Co Ltd. Following the withdrawal of the restriction, the Vietnam National Agro-Forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Department (NAFIQAD) asked these seven enterprises to strictly obey regulations on food safety set by Vietnam, Russian Federation and the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia in processing and exporting seafood to such markets.
