Fishing report for Friday and Saturday with jay crutchley started off great i started of as usual with the 2"grub then switched over to a bass assassin fry pattern at 2 1/2 inch which both patterns produced fish.jay on the other hand started with the 3"red hammer which only produced follows.after much perswasive talk i talked jay into changing to a 2"grub which produced him 2 lively perch which he was happy with.the visit to riverside nene was quit a challenge with boat traffic due to bank holiday.i caught jack pike and perch only in small numbers as jay only got follows.evening we both went back to billing aquadrome nene section which again only produced me only a few perch.then a visit from my misses she took the spare rod with a yellow 2"grub she loves the yellow grub she lost a 3lb perch to the net at the top lock.all in all a fantastic wknds fishing and after some good advice to jay from me about his speedy retrieve his catch rate Will soon rise rapidly.
