Fishn an thinkn ....I am fortunate to have many wonderful women in my life. To start Cathy, Angie, Autumn, Bridgette and some quite dynamic cousins that are to numerous to mention and wouldnt want to leave any out. Now friends that have or continue to have ....Gee Cynthia, Cecilia, Cathy, Terry, now Im talking about out rite good people that touch your life and others in a meaningful way. These folks make your life better and knowing them you feel better. NOW .... a few women have been teachers, role models and/or made an impact on my life that continues on and has made me a better person for knowing them or of them ....ok ....Mary the Mother of Jesus .....Mother Theresa .....role models and gifts from God .... In my personal life...now and growing up my Mother and my Sister have/are the most dynamic on how to love and treat one another. .... early on when it came to friends that taught and influenced me? Mrs Tobin and Chris came into my life and showed me how people can just be kind and care for you even if you werent family. NOW to my point ....The other person whoooooom I never met BUT ...Maya Angelou ...i heard/watched an interview with. I knew very little about her. Well I couldnt get over how wise and NICE she seemed. And while she spoke she gave you this comforting feeling and a sense that everything could just work out. I was quite taken by her. Now I never became a student of Mayas but read poetry and continued to admire her teaching and the example she lived. She, in my mind and heart, became the most important woman in the social history of America.
