Fit For Sport and ICON Sport & Active Leisure Study Programme The Study Programme course provides the Young People with a range of Qualifications and Training including: · L2 Award in Leading Health Related Activity Sessions · ASDAN L1 Personal & Social Development · Emergency First Aid · Functional Skills (if required) · Employability training Young peole will also have the opportunity to take part in Work Experience placements with Fit For Sport in our Schools and Kids Camp settings We will be holding 2 Open Sessions for you to refer Young People to: · Date: 24th June 2013 · Session 1 Time: 11am – 1pm · Session 2 Time: 1.30pm – 3.30pm · Location: Fit For Sport Training Academy, Conduit House, 309-317 Chiswick High Road, London, W4 4HH The eligibility criteria for entry onto the course is: · 16/17 yrs old · NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) · Ideally either a Maths or English GCSE grade A*-C (although this is not essential) The Programme is a great opportunity for a Young Person to enter into the Sport and Active Leisure industry and is designed to help them achieve an Apprenticeship or to continue into Further Education Please can you distribute these details to the young people that you are in contact with across Fit For Sport’s youth engagement projects, it is a valid progression and re-engagement for young people supported currently on the following projects: There are 20 spaces per open session (40 in total) on 24th June so get word out there and start signposting If anyone has any questions then please do not hesitate to contact us on 07814417227 / INBOX us OR TWEET us @headstartTeam
