Five days ago I posted that Batgirl and I are doing a clothing and blanket drive to do a handout for the homeless. In those five days we have had TWO people contact us with stuff to donate. I HAVE OVER 6000 PEOPLE ON HERE. Now I know that not all of those are from the area but I KNOW that there are over 100 that are. You dont have to donate boxes of items. Even if you only have a couple of hats or ONE coat... Come on people, I know things are tough and I know that we all have busy lives but is it really too much to ask that you take 5 minutes to look for an old hat or blanket so you can help someone stay warm?! What happen to compassion and kindness? Hell, were willing to drive to you and pick these items up. Even if it IS just one coat.... Just try people. Please. Some of these people were trying to help are CHILDREN AND THE ELDERLY. Dont sit there thinking that you dont have to because someone else will because then NO ONE does.
