»»»»»Five injured in road accidents: Srinagar August 19, 2013: Five persons were injured in different road traffic accidents across the valley. A motorcycle bearing registration number PB18K/2107 hit and injured Irfan Ahmad Awan son of Mohammad Hussain resident of Bidhard at Bidhard, Anantnag, in the jurisdiction of police station Kokernag. In this accident, a pillion Shakir Ahmad Malik son of Gulzar Ahmad resident of Draway also sustained injuries. Both the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. Kokernag Police ahs registered a case in this regard. Meanwhile, a Tata Sumo bearing registration JK03A/0467 hit and injured a pedestrian Fardeen Ahmad Shalla son of Nissar Ahmad resident of Uranhall Bijbehara, Anantnag at Bangedar, in the jurisdiction of police station Anantnag. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. Anantnag police has registered a case in this regard. In another accident, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number Jk01C/3036 hit and injured a boy, Mohammad Afzal son of Mohammad Maqbool Bhat resident of Hanjiwara Pattan at Hanjiwara, Baramulla, in the jurisdiction of police station Pattan. The injured was shifted to JVC hospital, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. In another accident, a BSF vehicle bearing registration number PB-08AG/9499 and a Maruti Car bearing registration number JK03B/2969 collide at Delhi Public School crossing Panthachowk, resulting in injuries to the Maruti driver. The injured was shifted to SMHS Srinagar for treatment. Panthachowk police has registered a case in this regard.
