"Flames of Tigris"~ An attempt at poetry by Amanda Chartier Ho! Maine Atlantic Ocean! Hot is the sand and July Heat on... OH, Sea, Thank You,Thank You For Your Breeze And, Now, your wetness upon my body is so cold, Cold and nice, beneath me waves shine like when The wishes from my pen,Splash! were free I dive down in, cold déjà vu. Then I experience salt, warmth Ah! La Mare! So like a woman is this scent Of ocean in the air? Splash!... Splash! So beneficial, the sun, no need for jealousy, no such thing: A Jealous sun. Now, I swim, carried in by waves washing Up on shore when I, touch softness I walk, walk so Glad,waves shimmering on by,that,for me, this is home.
