Flashback #373 - April 29, 1985 - Commercial Talks between PAL and Korean Air, PAL Head Office, Makati - I started to be exposed in aeropolitics in this commercial talks. As head of PALs International Cargo my participation was needed on cargo matters. There usually were two rounds of talks among the designated carriers, one each in their respective head offices; that is if issues were not resolved in the first round. The results of commercial agreements were more often than not became input/part of the air talks between the governments of the two countries through their negotiating panels. We had many contentious issues with South Korea and Korean Air then.
