Flashback August 2014: I remember meeting a young woman while riding GROOME Transportation on the way to Dalton, GA... We chatted up the whole way through, maybe 2 hrs. We talked about everything, life, career, ambitions...and even WALKING DEAD! She told me that she was heading back to her home for a while in Nashville, TN. I told her that I might be working in Macon, GA, by September. She smiled. She then said that shes taking up a masters degree in Mercer University....in Macon, GA. I left the shuttle and went to the waiting area to wait for my cab. She then went to the front door to transfer to another shuttle that will take her to Nashville. Before she went out the door, she called my attention and walked up to me. She said, take my number just in case we could hangout in Macon one of these days. I told myself that this is my chance to have American friends [nyahaha]. As luck would have it...my phone died on my first week in Macon and needed a replacement.
