Flat foot pistol with no counter weight, lever, heel raise or other assist. This has taken a really long time, maybe 12 months of actively working on the specific ankle/ hip mobility/ stability to accomplish.Set backs including a knee injury and pain pain flare up were only minor detours. IMO it is a useful motion to develop. A number of coaches and trainers suggest the pistol squat is an excellent screen of how well you can move. It has been a worthy investment in action
