Flat screen TVs - they are everywhere, in Mexican restaurants, Airport terminals, club rooms, the Gym, hotel bathroom mirrors. Doesnt anyone know how to BE with themself anymore? Do we truly need the constant NOISE of TV monitors? LaGuardia Airport is a bastion of modern living. Ipads are in the middle of every airport table. When at a restaurant, you dont order from a human server, you order from the iPad. And everything on that iPad costs extra. Three slices of bacon to add to your microwaved fritatta is $7.00 extra. So, not only do you lose human interaction, you pay through the nose for it. These are the things of this world that sadden me. Clearly, Im too sensitive and old fashioned.
