Fleet Engineer at a Multinational FMCG JOB PURPOSE - Manage the daily fleet maintenance operations and ensure that trucks are well maintained throughout their planned life within the approved cost parameters with respect to safety and quality standards. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES - Responsible for Safety Standards implementation in the fleet maintenance workshop - Responsible on the implementation of 5S in the fleet workshop - Monitor the daily maintenance operations and ensure its efficiency as per the daily maintenance plan - Ensure the compliance of Trucks with safety and quality Standards - Accountable on the preventive maintenance cost - Accountable on trucks conditions and their performance in the market - Report the operations KPIs as required - Responsible for the development of the technical team reporting to him KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS - Transportation Cost per Ton - Trucks Down Time - Trucks Cooling Efficiency - On Time Deliveries - Safety Near Misses COMMUNICATION AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS - Internally: Reports to the Fleet Manager, supervises Fleet Technicians and Supervisors, works with Transportation team and SSD team - Externally: Suppliers REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor degree in Mechanical Power/Automotive engineering - Personal Competencies: Ability to work under stress High Problem Solving Skills Very well organized and planned Self-Motivated - Technical Competencies: 5S methodology AIB Trucks mechanicals Safety If interested, kindly send your resume to [email protected] & mention "Fleet Engineer" in the subject line before the 20th of September
