Flesh eating bacterial infection update: 10 days in the hospital, 8 of which were in the ICU. The infection seems to be under control but not without problems and setbacks. Many of my bodys systems are rebelling against the assault of quite a few very powerful antibiotics. Once these issues are resolved, then I can move into rehab. How extensive that will be before I can even get out of bed will depend on how much tissue damage was done. The fifth surgery is scheduled for tomorrow. After rehab we can work on which Atlanta area hospital Ill be transferred to. Theres still a very long road ahead of us but I know well get past this with the continued love and support of our friends and family. Thank you all for being there for us.
