Flights received a bunch of Star Wars books in trade, and Id like to single out two that you may not have read, but which deserve special mention for any Star Wars fans, particularly with the Clone Wars now on Netflix and all the news on Episode 7. STAR WARS TATOOINE GHOST has Han and Leia, after the Emperors death, going on a mission to the desert planet to recover a priceless work of art, a piece of lost Alderaan. And Leia sees the picture of a young boy who won the Boonta Eve classic...Anakin Skywalker. Its an integral piece to the story, because the trilogy is scene through the prism of Luke and Darth Vader, and ties to Timothy Zahns Thrawn Trilogy. Also, Matthew Stovers SHATTERPOINT; Stover wrote the novelization of Revenge of the Sith that is considered by many to be the ultimate, definitive version, what the movie should have been. Shatterpoint is the story of Mace Windo, going into the jungle to find a Jedis whos been driven insane...or to the Dark Side. Its Star Wars meets Apocalypse Now.
