Flood Warning for the Condamine Balonne Moderate flood levels are rising at Woodlands in the Maranoa River. Minor flood levels expected at St George by the weekend. Scattered rainfall totals of between 100-160 mm have been recorded the Maranoa River and Bungil Creek catchments during the past week. No further significant rainfall is expected over the region in the next 24 to 48 hours. BUNGIL CREEK: Renewed creek level rises are near a peak just below the minor flood level at Roma and are expected to ease later Wednesday. MARANOA RIVER: Moderate flood levels continue to rise at Woodlands and are expected to peak during Wednesday. Rises are occurring downstream to Old Cashmere. BALONNE RIVER FROM BEARDMORE DAM TO ST GEORGE: Rises are expected in the Balonne River from Beardmore Dam to St George this week with minor flood levels expected at St George overnight Friday. bom.gov.au/qld/warnings/flood/condamine-balonne.shtml
