FijiLeaks reports the dictator Frank Bainimarama as saying, If the roadwork isnt up to scratch, we will demand that it be re-done at no cost to the taxpayer.This has never happened before in Fiji [what a load of bullshit. This happens whenever it rains, across Fiji] We are serious about quality [yeah right!], and will no longer accept sub-standard work. [this is what Bainimarama keeps says, the fancy words. In reality he and Khaiyum steal a lot of the cheap Chinese loans for themselves and their corrupt family and friends. The Audit Generals report will reveal this theft]. The dictator also states his simple philosophy: If youre going to build a road, build a good road. [Ok, so why didnt you build good roads? Was it all for show, to fool the people into voting for you?...Absolutely!] And than the dictator thanks the government of the Peoples Republic of China and ambassador Huang Young, for facilitating the funding negotiations with the Exim Bank of China. Yes,...I can just picture Bainimarama lying in the face of the people. The roads across Fiji are no different to what a Tongan Minister claimed a few weeks back, that their roads were built by the Chinese, to poor standards. Subsequently, the roads were destroyed, well before the loan repayments had even begun.
