Flowerchild is hiring! We are looking for a part time employee to work at our eco-friendly children’s boutique and continue meeting our customer’s expectations for superb customer service and a positive shopping experience. We require an enthusiastic individual who has previous retail experience, demonstrates excellent customer service skills, and is also a dedicated worker who is self-motivated and able to work independently. Experience working with children would be a great benefit. Successful applicant will be responsible for serving customers, operating cash register, handling cash, debit and credit card payments, cleaning and organizing store and displays, product knowledge, following store policies, pricing and merchandising products, opening and closing store. Applicant will be expected to work two 6-8 hour shifts a week; one on a weekday and one on a weekend. Additional shifts will expected during special events and the Christmas season. While the above are the basic qualities our employees must require, there are additional skills that would be an asset to applicants, including: art skills, graphic design experience, experience in social media, including blogging, experience in website administration and interest in entrepreneurship.
