Fluffy - A heartbreaking story about an American Akita that does not see the Sun..... I have just received this story about an older Akita living in a kennel, ignored, unwanted and probably going to die in that depressing state unless we all do something to help her. They are not asking for money, they are begging for a home for her. Here is the message and a photo of the Akita. Hello, I am reaching out to you for help regarding a Senior Female American Akita that has now been kenneled for over 1 year. For the last 3 weeks, I see her and walk her daily. She is in great Health and spirit. But I need help spreading the word about her, because she has been kenneled for too long already. Could you please help me spread the Word for her??? She is at: Londoloza Dog Den Address: 3416 Wesley St, Culver City, CA 90232 Phone:(310) 237-5003 Talk to Pat or Ron Or they can call me, Thierry: (310) 951 3081 Honestly, I cant thank you enough. It has been so sad to see no one stepping forward to help her find a Family the last year. Thank you so much in advance for your help !!! Thank you so much in advance !!! Thierry Hassid : (310) 951 3081 Below is her story........................ Fluffy is that legendary Akita. You know that story: an Akita waited for the return of her owner for years. Fluffy has the same Patience and Resiliency, and her story is equally heartbreaking ... She was abandoned at Londoloza Dog Den a year ago. Her prior owner actually asked for her to be euthanized. Really? Euthanized ??? Yes, because her owner went on a Life down turn; he wanted her to go down with him. Well guess what? Our friends at Londoloza Dog Den did not let that happen and harbored her, just so that Fluffy would be safe and no longer dependent on that person. So that is phase 1. Phase 2, a lot of rescue groups deemed her unadoptable because she was too old. What ??? How do you judge Age? Guess what, here is my suggestion, you judge it by Health. And her Health is great. We did a full checkup on her, and her tests came back perfect. So why keep her kenneled? Why is she not seeing the Light at the end of a tunnel? Why is no one stepping up to get her adopted? Really, no one likes senior dogs out there? Here is a little bit about her and personality: She is a 10- 12 year old female tricolor, purebred American Akita. She is not a barker. She is very low maintenance. . She loves swimming and is great at it . Give her a yard and some sun and she’ll be ecstatic. She takes a little time to know you (without any sign of aggression, just indifference), but once she accepts you, the bond is UNIMAGINABLE. Really she is that Akita, that legendary Akita, waiting for her Owner to come Please note that adopting a senior dog is one of the greatest act of kindness and altruism. And Fluffy is worth every second of her Life and your Life together. So please help Her … She should NOT be taken into a rescue and housed like a pair of old socks in a kennel until she dies. She needs a home, she needs a place to share her life, to share love...she needs to smelling a turkey cooking for Thanksgiving and to wear a red bow for Christmas. WE NEED A FOSTER HOME FOR FLUFFY. Please, lets activate and SHARE this Akita. She is in Culver City, CA.
