Flying is an amazing adventure. I love it. I am the person on the plane that pops arms up in the air as if riding a roller coaster when the plane in taking off. You know, the one who causes distress to pale faced and white knuckled arm chair clasping passengers hate. My heart soars with the power of the plane. Bursting with excitement every time I get the window seat, I probably always leave a nose-print on the window. To have the view of the earth from above opens up all the river paths, mountain ridges, glaziers, farm land patches, and roving city streets. I feel so fortunate to view Papa Gods creative works and the creative acts of His children. However, nothing prepared me for the beauty of flying into Anchorage as we came over the pristine snow covered mountains. Breath- taking, it was the kind of experience where you know God is showing off His beautiful masterpiece as form of communication. The last time I had that feeling was my first trip to Africa. Flying over the coastline of Mozambique, I felt as though God was saying, Heres my beloved Africa. Tears flooded my face because I knew it was true.
