Foam Party IMPACT returns with twice the foam MANKATO, MN – IMPACT Mavericks After Dark will be hosting a foam party at the Horse Shoe Lot on Friday, Sep. 5th. “The music was awesome and the lights were cool. My friends and I had a great time. I’m coming back this year, but with flip-flops,” IMPACT business chair, Nicholas Lucken. This event is a great way to meet fellow Mavericks in a fun-filled and safe environment here on campus. It’s a great way to show your Maverick pride by participating in events and joining us for free while receiving free food (walking tacos), crafts and many giveaways. The foam party will take place on Friday, Sep. 5 starting at 8 p.m. at Lot 11 (the horseshoe lot) across the street from Julius Sears near the fountain. MSU Alumni DJ Evan Oconner will be spinning original dubstep and the latest hits. Two machines will be pouring foam over the crowd while you enjoy the music and dancing. There is a concert lighting package along with an awesome sound system that will go on until around 11 p.m. All students with a MavCard are welcome to join. Please note that all undergarments (top and bottoms) are required along with shirt, shorts and shoes at all times. There will be no outside food, beverage, coolers or backpacks allowed at the event. Over 700 students joined us last year and the IMPACT team is excited to have you experience it with us. “This is a great experience for students to come and enjoy free food, meet new people and hear good music,” said Loghin Welch, IMPACT President. “It’s not every day you get to go to a foam party.” IMPACT is the student run programming board here at MSU and is sponsoring this event.
