Based in North Sydney, we are a small team of energetic and busy professionals. In this role, you will be part of a two-person team responsible for the support, maintenance and development of the Studio’s IT infrastructure. Specifically, you will be responsible for: · daily triage and first response to IT support queries from operators, producers and management · assisting the IT Manager to support all the technology used by the facility · performing Help Desk fixes to resolve basic issues and promote complex issues to senior staff · ensuring It’s responsiveness to issues and adequate follow-up to all queries · maintaining licence register and renewal timeline · maintaining asset register · arranging any new asset purchases as approved by IT Manager & Management team · tracking software installs, hardware usage and workstation assignment · maintaining office equipment including printers and scanners To be considered for the role you will need: · prior experience in IT systems management (within a creative company is a plus) · to be comfortable juggling and shifting priorities and exercise excellent organisational skills · experience with network maintenance, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and wifi · to be able to work autonomously, efficiently and effectively and recommend sound technical solutions · excellent communication skills to communicate with management, employees, clients and suppliers (both written & verbal) · an outgoing personality, be vocal, inquisitive and a natural troubleshooter · experience with video editing and 3D software highly preferred · experience with client/server system support and security best practice · experience in OSX, Windows, Adobe Suite and Google Apps · an ability to quickly learn new technologies · a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and an ability to work well under pressure An interest in the industry will be of benefit in this role.
