Folks...ANYONE that says they do not vote...ask them if they like the current situation in our state and country. If they say NO...remind them that by NOT voting...they are IN FACT voting for the STATUS-QUO! Entrenched politicians love it, when WE THE PEOPLE stay home. I might also add that it breaks the heart of most veterans. This is the last weekend of campaigning in this election year primary for our Republican nominees to take on the Democrats in our great state. I just want to thank all of those who have campaigned hard for their candidates of choice...and who have decided to partake in the battle. You are ALL great Americans in my book. As a Republican Precinct Committeeman, I urge you to get ALL Illinoisans in your areas to go out and vote...Democrats included (we are all Americans). Our state and country functions best when people take a keen interest in deciding who our elected officials should be. Our Constitution was specifically designed for people to debate and argue among ourselves (even piss each other off)...in order to DIRECTLY select our BEST leaders. That is what makes us so unique as a people...we have been doing it the longest.
