Folks, Around here I expect people to treat each other with respect, even when you don’t agree with, or necessarily like a comment. If someone has an opinion that differs from yours, that is acceptable. And as long as they don’t insult another group member (or Judy Garland) they are allowed to express their opinion, And I certainly won’t stand by while people ridicule them or make jokes at their expense. Today I had to remove two group members who went out of their way to make a touchy situation worse, and it killed me. AND I had to cave and remove a thread because people seemingly couldn’t let it be, even after the moderator and the group leader asked them to. I would hate it if everyone in this group had the same opinion as everybody else (imagine how boring that would be), I also hate it when people are picked on for not having the popular opinion. I am sure many of us have had to take shit in their lives for one reason or another and I want The Judy Garland Experience to be a place where everyone can feel fr4ee to express themselves without fear of ridicule and derision. Now, on the other hand, if somebody comes into the group and says Grace Kelly deserved her Oscar over Judy you will find a bucket of rotten tomatoes under your seat :P JUST KIDDING. But please, if someone says something you don’t agree with feel free to challenge them, BUT if you are unable to argue your point without insulting them, please think twice before joining the conversation. Thanks. Hopefully I can reinstate the two people that were removed after things cool down a bit.
